Abstract Online Submission
Instructions:
Presenters are requested to submit their abstracts as PDF files in "camera-ready" form. There are no format requirements, but as these abstracts will be compiled into an electronic workshop booklet without further editing, we suggest adhering to the following guidelines.
- Suggested length of text is between one and three paragraphs.
- Suggested font is Arial 11.
- Titles should be lowercase, except for the first word and proper nouns, as in "Detection of binary asteroids by gravitational lensing from December 2006 observations with the Hubble Space Telescope."
- Figures (B/W or color) are welcomed. Keep in mind that your entire PDF document will be paginated to fit page-sized spaces that are 6.5" wide by 9" high.
- Do not include the title and author list as part of the PDF file containing the abstract. The title and author list will be assembled from the information you provide in the abstract submission form and inserted in front of your abstract.
- References and acknowledgements, if any, should appear after the main text of the abstract.
- Abstracts are due by midnight CDT on May 1, 2008. Any abstracts submitted after close of business CDT June 27, 2008 will be valued but will not be in the program printout.
- We want the workshop to be relaxed and informal, and the abstracts should reflect that concept. They should be brief and as informative as possible. It is more important to tell the major points of your story, and the broader implications, than to try to get into details.
